The Irrelevant Church
In this series of installments, I want to explore the topic of why the church has become largely disconnected and irrelevant in western culture. We could point to many external causes for this disconnection such as the breakdown of family and moral values. Yet, I want to focus on the internal issues for which we the members and leaders of the church are responsible. I want to expose the underlying issues for why we’ve become irrelevant to the culture at large and disconnected from the needs of the society we seek to serve and transform.
